THE BRITISH SHOW HORSE ASSOCIATION Supporting every member to achieve their own goals and celebrate their success. The BSHA has affiliated classes throughout the country, at all levels, from local shows to major county and championship shows, including our own Championship show held in September, the Royal International and Horse of the Year Show. Classes are available to suit everyone, including professionally produced Amateurs, Home Produced and Open sections; there is usually something for every competitor when joining our Association. Our very popular ‘Nat Champs’ aims to provide the membership with a fantastic show over 3 days and is run only with our Members at the forefront, so everyone has a great time, competitively and socially, your very own end to the Association ‘Supreme of Season’ classes.

THE BRITISH SHOW PONY SOCIETY – SIMPLY THE BEST The BSPS is the Premier Showing Society in the United Kingdom. The membership is divided into 22 franchised Areas around the country which organise regional shows, training days, points parties and social events. Whether you own or ride a Show Pony, Show Hunter Pony, Working Hunter Pony or Mountain and Moorland (adult riders included) the BSPS is for you!

We also will issue passports for solid coloured horses – please contact the BSPA for further information A little about the BSPA, we were formed in 1988 by a group of 12 Skewbald & Piebald enthusiasts. In 1994 we were the first coloured society to gain DEFRA recognition as a Horse Passport issuing organisation. We are a friendly welcoming society who will do our very best to offer you help and advice.

THE COLOURED HORSE & PONY SOCIETY (UK) CHAPS UK was founded in 1983 when coloured horses and ponies were generally frowned upon and laughed at by the rest of the equine community. A steady growth and acceptance was achieved by a group of volunteer enthusiasts. CHAPS UK is a DEFRA approved studbook and passport issuing organisation (PIO) and introduced its grading procedure in 1994. CHAPS UK has registered over 20,000 horses and ponies of all types. CHAPS(UK) offer CHAPS(UK) Championship Show qualifiers, CHAPS/BSPS Winter Restricted Qualifiers, CHAPS/ PUK Qualifiers, HOYS Qualifiers, Stallion and mare gradings, youngstock evaluations, our magazine “World of Colour” for our members, Junior Bursary, Regional Shows, Championship Show (with gala evenings and discos), Xmas Ball, merchandise and lots more.

NORTHERN COUNTIES PONY ASSOCIATION NCPA was formed in 1964 covering an area from Cumbria and Durham in the North down to Shropshire and Leicester in the South.

THE NATIONAL PONY SOCIETY (NPS) is a charitable body that was established in 1893, ‘to encourage the Breeding, Registration and Improvement of Riding Ponies and Mountain & Moorland ponies and to foster the Welfare of Ponies in general’. In conjunction with the British Horse Society, it is the officially appointed liaison between the Government and all those concerned with ponies, and is represented on all major horse and pony organisations.

UK PONIES & HORSES is an association for everyone! Offering you the opportunity to compete at the most pretigious equestrian arenas of the year. SENIOR SHOWING AND DRESSGE LTD SSADL is a Home Produced series for ponies and horses 15 years and over. Of all types and breeds from the equestrian world. SSADL is the only affiliated society to offer live grand finals at the: LONDON INTERNATIONAL HORSE HORSE EXCEL AGRIA ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW HICKSTEAD SSADL is managed and co-ordinated exclusively by a friendly team of individuals and expertise from the equine world. We also pride ourselves in providing highly respected accredited judges from a broad equestrian spectrum to officiate at showing qualifiers. Additionally, our Dressage series offers classes from Prelim, Novice, Elementry and Medium levels. Culminating in the annual National Dressage Championship Final.

The VETERAN HORSE SOCIETY is soley dedicated to the care and welfare of horses and ponies over the age of 15 years. Launched over 20 years ago the Veteran Horse Society has developed into a large professional organisation thanks to the help, support and belief of many individuals. ​ Starting out as an simply organisation that people who own or care for veterans could join for help and advice on their older horse.
